Context

Part of the same organization.

The International Medical Committee is the medical branch of OMPP · WOFP. It works in natural disasters, conflict zones, disease outbreaks and community health, alongside partner organizations and medical professionals who want to join.

The challenge

A lot to explain, with no photos and no figures.

Four areas of work had to be explained in two languages, making it clear that it belongs to OMPP · WOFP. And it had to be done with no photographs of its own field work and no verified data to publish.

Our work

What we did.

Brand

Development of its brand, recognizable as part of OMPP · WOFP.

Architecture and UX

One page per area of work and per institutional topic, each with a breadcrumb trail.

Content

Copy in Spanish and English based on the institutional brief, with no figures or quotes that weren’t verified.

Design

Type, color and icons instead of stock photos, leaving room for documentary photography once it exists.

Development and languages

Each language with its own addresses —/es/medicina-de-desastres/ and /en/disaster-medicine/— and the signals that keep search engines from mixing them up.

Positioning

NGO structured data, so search engines understand what it is and who it belongs to.

What We Do section of the site, Spanish version: four columns —natural disasters, conflict zones, disease outbreaks and community health— and below it How We Respond: assessment, deployment and direct care.

Current status

Live since 2026.

  • 14 pages in each language, plus the legal pages.
  • Dedicated pages for mission, leadership, global reach, transparency, partnerships, medical volunteers and contact.
  • No figure published without verified data.
